NBF’s HR Team recognised at the MENA HR Excellence Awards for the second consecutive year
“Best HR Team” Award reflects the team’s commitment to excellence in HR services
National Bank of Fujairah PJSC (NBF) announced today that it has been awarded first place in the “HR Team of the Year” category at the MENA HR Excellence Awards 2017 for the second time in a row. The coveted accolade recognises the efforts of the bank’s HR department in bringing new and innovative HR solutions to the bank’s employees and managers.
Held alongside the 12th Human Capital MENA Forum, the annual MENA HR Excellence Awards recognise leading HR professionals and organisations for excellence in their achievements over the past 12 months across the region.
This win is not NBF’s first award in this space but marks another milestone in its success journey. Over the years, the HR team has made significant progress in further engaging existing employees whilst developing its employer brand to attract new talent. In 2016, NBF won Best Employee Brand at the 2016 LinkedIn Talent Awards and was celebrated for Innovation in Employee Engagement in addition to receiving the Mark of Excellence for Nationalisation Initiative of Year at the HR Excellence Awards 2016. Earlier this year, the bank scooped ‘HR Team of the Year’ at the Gulf Employee Experience Awards 2017.
Testament to the HR team’s success, the reputable organisational consultancy Korn Ferry Hay Group put NBF amongst the top three banks in the GCC and amongst the group’s global list of “high performing companies”, which includes leading firms within the FORTUNE 500 and FTSE 100, in terms of employee engagement results.
