What is NBF’s Easy Payment Plan?
NBF’s Easy Payment Plan is a system allowing you to pay off an item you have purchased in fixed amounts at specified intervals. In other words, it allows you to “buy now and pay later”.
When you use your NBF credit card, you have the option of having the transaction converted into fixed instalments which you will repay for a certain number of months.

What is instant Easy payment plan
After every eligible transaction (AED 500 and above), you will receive a link on your registered mobile number for converting the transaction to easy payment plan of your choice.
You can view the payment plans and convert the submit your request instantaneously.
Please note: you will receive the link to convert to EPP only for eligible transactions undertaken at physical merchant terminals or online payment gateways. Transactions through NBF Direct banking or NBF mobile banking are not eligible for easy payment plan.

What is a balance transfer?
A balance transfer is a banking term used to describe the act of moving money from one bank account to another. This is commonly done when changing or removing accounts.
In terms of credit cards, it refers to the outstanding amount on one bank credit card which is transferred to another credit card.

What is EZ Draft / Cash on Call?
With NBF’s EZ Draft / Cash on Call, the available limit on your credit card can be transferred to you by way of a cheque, draft or account transfer. You could also use it to make a payment to a retail merchant who doesn’t accept payments by credit card (or charges additional fees for payments made by credit card).

VBV provides an extra layer of security by verifying you when you use your NBF credit or debit card to make payments online. You can rest assured that any online merchant that uses the VBV service is a legitimate commercial entity. A private code means added protection against unauthorised use of your credit or debit card when you make payments online.
VBV protects you by ensuring that you and only you can use your credit or debit card for electronic payments.

If I do not have my mobile number and/or email address registered with NBF, can I still make an online purchase?
You will be able to make online purchases, without an OTP, from merchant websites that do not support 3D Secure. For 3D Secure-enabled websites, you will not be able to complete a transaction without an OTP.
If your mobile number and/or email address has changed or you have not registered them with NBF, please update your contact details by visiting your nearest NBF branch.
Can I opt out of the OTP service for online purchases?
