National Bank of Fujairah PJSC (NBF) has opened registration for the

2022 edition of its popular NBF Fujairah Run, returning for its sixth edition on

Saturday 19 November 2022.

The NBF Run is organised under the Patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and reflects the Fujairah leadership’s commitment to encouraging residents to adopt active lifestyles in the Emirate.

As part of its own broad approach to ESG concerns, NBF is similarly committed to supporting the provision of events and facilities that facilitate active participation in sports and raising awareness of the subsequent health benefits, both in Fujairah and across the UAE. The Fujairah run is especially designed to attract all members of the community, whether established runners, first timers or casual participants.

This year's event will feature six categories: 3km, 5km, 10km, 11km trail run, team run and a determined ones run. Starting and finishing at Fujairah Festival Square, opposite Fujairah Hospital near Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, interested runners are invited to participate in the category that best suits them among the numerous categories. All categories of the run will follow scenic routes, winding through the historic town of Fujairah and its picturesque surroundings.

The annual event continues to attract a high level of attendance from runners of all ages and fitness levels from across the UAE, with an action-packed event programme

ready to entertain all in attendance.

"We have witnessed the NBF Fujairah Run grow in popularity year-on-year, becoming an

increasingly important fixture in the UAE sports calendar" said Vince Cook, CEO of NBF. "We

are very excited to open registration for this November's NBF’s Fujairah Run and look forward to welcoming runners of all ages and abilities, to enjoy Fujairah and help build a more active, healthier community" he added.

The NBF Fujairah Run 2022 has secured sponsorship from many partners, significantly strengthening the extent and profile of this year’s run. The bank thanks all partners for their continuous support - Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Fujairah Natural Resource Corporation (FNRC), The Box, Maharaj, Port of Fujairah, Fujairah National Group and Fujairah Adventure Club.

All participants will receive t-shirts, with medals and cash prizes awarded to the top UAE Nationals and expats, male and female, in each run category.
