How to activate your Tasdeed card
Insert your Tasdeed prepaid card into any NBF cash deposit machine and top up the card to automatically activate it.
How to top up your Tasdeed card
1. Insert your Tasdeed card into an NBF cash deposit machine
2. The cash deposit machine will display your name and card number
3. Select “proceed” and deposit the cash into the cash deposit machine
4. Select “accept” and the amount will be loaded onto the prepaid card and a receipt will be printed for your collection
5. A balance update SMS will be sent to your mobile. Your card is now active and ready to use
How to make a payment using your Tasdeed card
1. Go to the payment counter at a participating Fujairah Government department
2. Present your payment voucher and your Tasdeed prepaid card
3. The agent will swipe your card for payment
4. The payment will be processed and a confirmation SMS will be sent to your mobile. Payment receipt can be collected from the agent

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Tasdeed card my only means of making a payment at Government of Fujairah offices?
Yes, you will not be able to make any payments at certain participating Government of Fujairah offices without a Tasdeed card.
Which Government of Fujairah offices will accept my Tasdeed card
Currently, Tasdeed cards have to be used at the following government offices:
- Finance Department
- Emiri Court
- Fujairah Municipality (main office)
- Dibba Municipality (main office)
Other Government of Fujairah Departments will also be implementing the Tasdeed system. Check the Government of Fujairah website for updates on which offices accept Tasdeed.

You can buy a Tasdeed card from any of the following Government offices:

What documents do I need to obtain a Tasdeed card for my personal use?
To obtain a Tasdeed card for your personal use, you will need to present a copy of your Emirates ID card at a participating Government of Fujairah office.

- Company trade license
- Their own Emirates ID card
- A letter from the company authorising the representative to apply for a Tasdeed card on behalf of the company
I am new to the UAE and don’t yet have my Emirates ID. What documents do I need to obtain a Tasdeed card?
You can present copies of your passport and visa at a participating Government of Fujairah office.
Will my name or the name of my company appear on the card?
You can request your name or that of your company be displayed on the card through any participating Government of Fujairah office. You should receive your personalised card within seven working days at a fee of AED 15.
How much cash can I load onto my Tasdeed card?
You can make a minimum deposit of AED 50 and a maximum deposit of AED 100,000 when topping up your Tasdeed card.
How can I load/reload money onto my Tasdeed card?
You can top-up your Tasdeed card with funds at any NBF cash deposit machine or ATM machine that has a deposit facility. For a full list, click on the “How to use Tasdeed” tab on this page.
How will I know the funds have been credited to my card?
Once you have deposited the cash in the ATM machine, you'll get a printed receipt and receive an SMS to your registered mobile number confirming the balance.
